WHO WE ARE
The JRA is a voluntary association open to membership for all Jongensfontein Residents. Our Constitution sets out our governance structures and procedures, as well as the rights and duties of the JRA and its members and office bearers.
MISSION STATEMENT

The JRA represents its members, who are ratepayers of Jongensfontein, by interacting on their behalf with the Hessequa Municipality in order to continually enhance, upgrade and maintain the beauty and infrastructure of Jongensfontein to the satisfaction of all its members.

To act as a voice on behalf of all JRA members;

To liaise closely with the Ward 3 Councillor and Senior Officials of Hessequa Municipality;

To maintain the peaceful atmosphere and character of Jongensfontein;

To preserve, improve and maintain the plant, animal and sea life of Jongensfontein;

To guard against environmental pollution and degradation;

To create recreational facilities without sacrificing the rural character of the town;

To accumulate funds to reach the above goals;

To ensure that the Hessequa Municipality maintains the highest standards of maintenance;

To keep all residents fully informed on matters concerning their interests in Jongensfontein.
